Calling All Book Lovers

Grace Book Group—Books, Coffee, & Conversation
Our Favorite Books of 2023

Books, Coffee, & Conversation meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Our theme for February is romance—read a romance novel and join us for our discussion about what we loved and hated about the books we read. Please contact Brenda Hayasaka if you are interested in joining this group (bkhayasaka@gmail.com) If you need book recommendations please reach out to Angie (gracechurch517@gmail.com), Brenda, or ask your local library or bookstore.

New!  In-person Daytime Book Group

We are called to be people in community.  Beginning on Monday February 26 at 1:30 pm you will have another opportunity to do that!  All adults are invited to the Nolt Auditorium to be together and to discuss “Horse”, by Geraldine Brooks.  The book is based on Wellington, who was one of the most extraordinary athletes of the 19th century and happened to be a racehorse.  There is a lot of social history revealed as well since he was groomed by an enslaved man.  Come join us!  At this meeting we will also discuss plans for future months.
