Holy Week at Grace

Worship at 8 & 10:30. The 10:30 service will include a parade with our children!

Worship at noon in the chapel and 7 p.m. in the nave. Foot-washing, Holy Communion and the Stripping of the Altar bring us into the midst of Jesus’s last days.

7:30 a.m. Stations of the Cross – we walk, pray and sing our way around the Grace Campus marking the traditional 14 “stations” of Jesus’ Passion. A beautiful and solemn way to begin this Holy Day.

7 p.m – The reading of the Passion of St. John and Adoration of the Cross, choral music, and prayer.

We have been invited to attend the following community ecumenical services at noon:

  • Bethel AME – This service is being co-hosted with Ebenezer Baptist. Rev. Forbes from Ebenezer will preach at this service.
  • Otterbein UMC – Seven Last Words service
  • St. Anthony of Padua : Via Crucis devotion
  • Holy Trinity Lutheran : The 12pm service will be held in the chapel and will focus on the Passion narrative.

6 p.m…start in the parsonage yard with a small bonfire and lighting the new paschal (resurrection) Candle…the first proclamation of Easter for the new season, epic readings from the Jewish Scriptures, music, all moving us toward the celebration of Holy Baptism!

Worship at 8 & 10:30

At both the 8:00 & 10:30 a.m. services, our choirs and brass adorn this festive celebration of the heart of Christian hope and faith.

Greetings from our Grace Youth attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in New
Orleans, Louisiana!

We have been meeting monthly to prepare our hearts and minds for what we anticipate will be an experience of a lifetime.
Thanks to your generosity we are steadily reaching our fundraising goals. On Easter Sunday you will have another opportunity to show your support by purchasing freshly made beignets at breakfast. The cost will be three for $5.00.
We ask for your continued prayers and look forward to sharing our experiences with you upon our return.
We are created to be brave, authentic, free, disruptive disciples!

Hollis Butterworth would like to know if anyone is interested in being part of bridge group. Even a table of 4 would be fun! Any ability is welcome – from beginner to intermediate. If interested please email Hollis at patransplant44@gmail.com.
