Sundays and Seasons Calendars For 2024 Year C
Please let Angie know by 10/17 if you would like a Sundays and Seasons calendar. $10 each.
We will have two tables set up for this event! If you wish to help please leave
candy/treats and little trinkets (bubbles, pencils etc) in the church office or in the collection area in the Nolt Auditorium. If you have any questions please contact Kathryn Verkouw. Office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-4.

Non-citizens report facing barriers to accessing health care and skipping or postponing care more often than citizens. There are many hurdles that make navigating our healthcare system particularly difficult for immigrants and refugees. In this workshop you will learn more about what challenges people face and how Union Community Care and others are working to overcome them for Lancaster’s large refugee and immigrant population.
Christian Formation
Join us for Fall Foliage Day at Camp Kirchenwald Sunday October 27 1pm-6pm
Return to camp for the afternoon to enjoy fall activities, worship, and a picnic supper. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet up with old friends or introduce new folks to camp. An evening meal is included. Enjoy Pumpkin Painting, Canoeing / Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Hayrides, Hiking, and More!

LHANDS Volunteers Needed
Renovations continue on our LHANDS apartment #2 at 24 E James in preparation for new tenants. If you are handy with home improvements, please get in touch with Tom Andersen –twandersen@comcast.net – to volunteer!
Grocery Cards
Grocery cards are available at both services on Sunday mornings. You may order cards by calling Duane and Kitty Weiss. Remember all purchases of cards realizes 5% in cash back to Grace. These funds are used to support our many ministries.
Hope For the Holidays
Please join us in sending holiday greetings to families at the US/Mexico Border. Cards and English/Spanish translations will be available in the Nolt Auditorium this weekend. You can also make your own cards/use Christmas cards that you have—do not place cards in an envelope. If you have any questions please contact Angie Rabbe.
Girl Scout Shoe Collection Ends This Month!
We are collecting gently used shoes (boots, dress shoes, casual shoes, work boots – men, women and children). The shoes go to developing countries to help with their micro businesses. The organization that we are working with is Funds to Orgs. They pay organizations a small fee for collecting the shoes. The shoes go to developing countries. The shoes are used by people in these countries for their micro businesses to help them earn money to support their families. Shoes can be left in the collection box in the Nolt Auditorium.
