Mardi Gras 2025!

At Grace we celebrate Mardi Gras on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday (March 5) with a luncheon and talent show. We share a lot of laughter and fun before we get to the serious work of Lent. Sign up sheets will be in the Solarium, Nolt Auditorium and the Narthex. Vicki Mumma and friends will be supplying the main dishes- we ask that you bring a dessert to share.
Meanwhile, think about a talent or non-talent that will make us laugh, lift our spirits or both that you are willing to share. There will be a sign up sheet for the talent show participation as well. If you have any questions please contact Kathryn Verkouw, Lisa Bisignani, or Angie Rabbe.

Outreach
There’s a Barn in Our Narthex!!!

From that Cradle in the barn to needy families of the world may blessings flow… Help our Children of Grace gather money for the ELCA Global Barnyard project in honor of our King!
How: Bring your change, your dollar bills (you may keep your gold and frankincense)
Dates of collection: Now until March 2nd (Mardi Gras Sunday)
Where: You may connect with a child of Grace at the beginning of Sunday School hour (you will
hopefully hear them shaking their Barn banks, or bring it to our display in the Narthex or Nolt
A big thank you to Matteo Villafuerte and Miles Dupkanick for shaking the barns during Sunday school and after the 10:30 worship, Miles’ brother Ben was even inspired to dance. We are well on our way to our goal of $500!! Thank you for your generosity and keep the “change” coming!
Grocery Cards

Grocery cards are available at both services on Sunday mornings. You may order cards by calling Duane and Kitty Weiss. Remember all purchases of cards realizes 5% in cash back to Grace. These funds are used to support our many ministries.
Lutheran Disaster Response: Flooding in South Eastern United States
Flooding is one of the most common natural disasters in the United States. Across the country, Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) supports communities as they recover from devastating floodwaters. LDR provides support for long-term recovery, for emotional and spiritual care, and for educational training of synods and partners in affected regions.
What you can do:
Pray: Please pray for communities impacted by flash flooding. May God’s healing presence give them peace and hope in their time of need. Pray that God will deliver comfort to those who mourn and strength to those who work diligently to care for affected communities.
Give:
Your gifts to Lutheran Disaster Response equip us to respond to communities affected by flooding and related disasters. These gifts also empower us to respond to disasters whenever and wherever they strike. Gifts to “U.S. Flooding” will be used in full (100%) to assist those affected by floods. Donate on line here
