Dinner Church at Grace
Meeting Monthly in Fellowship Hall
beginning on Friday evening,
June 22nd at 6-7:30 pm.
Casual, open, and welcoming to all!
What is “Dinner Church”?
It is a gathering of people of good will where all the most important things happen at the table. Think of it as a good dinner party with a spiritual twist. We eat, have robust conversation and prayerful moments all while around a dinner table. A time for “give and take” with the Gospel, with the focus on Jesus and his timeless message for each of us today.
Who is invited? The religious, the non-religious, the seekers, the curious, those with questions, the confused and those who don’t feel fed by traditional worship or organized religion.
Why on Friday evenings? It seems like the perfect way to start a weekend after a long work week – a chance to be fed physically and spiritually in an intentional community.
What will be served? A wholesome meal with a vegetarian option. You are welcome to bring a dessert to share.
As a worshipper at Grace, how can I help?
Invite, invite, invite… and perhaps accompany. We all have people in our lives that need something like dinner church. It is a wonderful opportunity to share with the ones we care about.
Share our “Dinner Church” invitational postcards with others! (available in the narthex)
