Offering Envelopes

We received a phone call from our envelope supplier that there is a delay with the April envelopes…we were assured that they were shipped priority by the company and you should be receiving them shortly. In the meantime if you need your envelope number please call the church office or email Angie. If you no longer wish to receive envelopes please let Angie know. If you asked to be removed you will likely still receive envelopes through May because we had to submit the May list to the company at the beginning of March. You can also give online

Volunteers Needed
Any adults interested in sharing their gifts of music, leadership, or professional expertise, with our youth may contact Philip Supeck at 717.725.3429 or pmsupeck@gmail.com for more details.
New Prayer Station

Have you noticed anything new in the narthex, on the table by the water
cooler? Please help to fill our Prayer Cross. All necessary materials and directions are located there. As the cross visually grows more vibrant in color, may our prayer lives with our Father grow in vibrancy too. Also, on that same table you will find a box marked “Prayer Chain.” If you are aware of someone in need of prayers, please complete the prayer request slip and place it in the box. Those requests will be confidentially shared with our Grace Prayer Chain members who faithfully pray on their behalf. If you wish to join the prayer chain, please contact Lisa Bisignani.
Reflections Needed for the Church Year

Have you been reading the weekly reflection in the Grace News? Would you like to write a reflection? We are looking for folks who are interested in writing reflections throughout the church year with the exception of July because there is no Grace News in July.
If you are submitting something written by someone else please include the citation information (page number, publisher, author etc). If you would like to participate in this project please contact Angie at graceelcaapd@gmail.com or call the church office. If you would like a liturgical calendar please let Angie know and she will get one to you.
Our Grace Family

Dear Members of Grace,
We give thanks for the life and witness of Carol Main, who died on Sunday,
April 9. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. Please
keep in your prayers of consolation Bishop Don, her sons. Donald, Christopher, Scott and their families, and all who grieve and mourn.
Creation Care
We have been doing so well with our gathering of clean Styrofoam and plastic caps! A few
reminders: Caps must not have dirt or stickers on them. Unfortunately stickers and dirt makes the caps unrecyclable. We recommend you throw them in a container of sudsy water and then let them soak, both the sticker and the dirt should be easy to remove at that point! Thank you so much for continuing to support our recycling efforts at Grace – together we can make the environment a little bit cleaner
Weekly Reflection
O loving God, to turn away from you is to
St. Augustine (elw pg 87)
fall, to turn toward you is to rise, and stand
before you is to abide forever. Grant us,
dear God, in all our duties your help; in all
our uncertainties your guidance; in all our
dangers your protection; and in all our
sorrows your peace; through Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.
