May 2023 Schedule
Thank You

Dr. Tom and Barbara Andersen created this lovely mosaic for us. The mosaic is made out of leftover sample tiles from our renovation and pieces that the Andersens selected themselves! You can see it yourself the next time you are in the solarium.
Thank you Andersens!
From Our Secretary

- Carl and I will be on vacation May 10-15th. A volunteer will be in the office the morning of May 11th .
- We got a new copier in the office! Our contract with Marco expired last year and we were on an auto-pay system. By getting a new copier we are saving around $100/month. This also allowed us to replace our table top finisher (the machine that folds the Grace News and bulletins). Our best guestimate is that the old finisher was at least 20 years old, probably closer to 30. It was in desperate need of replacement as it no longer adjusted for paper size and kept jamming. In addition to folding the new machine also staples! If you need copier training please let me know.

Vacation Bible School 2023

Hello Grace Families,
We had a wonderful response to our evening VBS last summer! This year we are hoping to add a larger intergenerational component. The theme for this summer is Soul Food: How God Feeds Us.
We will begin each evening with dinner together! There will also be time for teens and adults to play some fun games together. Let the laughter begin! Of course we will also provide the great VBS activities for our Pre-K through 6th grade age groups.
Megan Supeck is our director this year and she has lots of great ideas and connections to the professional food world! Please save the following dates: June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, August 2. Each night will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Together we will praise God, learn, sing, eat, laugh and play.
May God bless our efforts and our time together.
In peace, Kath
Weekly Reflection
At least two nights this week, set a timer for at least five minutes and do something that is relaxing for you. Whether relaxation looks like an evening stroll, making tea in silence, or playing soft music while you breathe deeply in your rocking chair, make space to relax. As you do, count all the things you are grateful for. Thank God for those things.
This is a wonderful practice for children and adults!
