We are still collecting caps for the Earth Savers Club at Central York High School. If you would like to help—drop off your clean/label free caps to the church office!
Thank you for helping to protect our planet!
Special thanks for your support!
Special thanks to all who have supported us as we prepare to embark on our mission trip to Puerto Rico Oct. 30th. Our fundraising lunch was a success! On Sunday October 6th, we enjoyed a delicious meal of Puerto Rican chicken stew, arroz con gandules, habichuelas, tostones, bread pudding, and coconut macarons plus an informative presentation given by Pastor Verkouw. To date we have raised over $3,700.00 dollars! Thank you to all who have donated through their offerings, and through PayPal.
Your support has meant so much to us.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor, Kath, & Vicki

Grace Your Table cookbook!
Help our youth get to Minneapolis for the ELCA Youth Gathering in 2021!
We will be compiling a Grace Church cookbook, “Grace Your Table,” as a fundraiser for our youth. The book will feature recipes from our ESL students, artwork from our youngest members, and recipes, photos, and stories from our congregation! Cost per book is $15.
We need recipes, photos, and stories! Do you have photos or stories from meals at Grace? We would love to include them in our book! The above can be emailed to our Assistant Program Director Angie Smith at email@example.com or be placed in the recipe boxes in the St. Peter Chapel and the Narthex.
Please contact Angie with any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-397-2748.

Fishbowl—led by Cheri Way
The children have been focusing on experiencing prayer in different ways. This week we each took a mustard seed and created our own tree of faith. You might see them adorning the Narthex. How is your faith tree doing? And, did you hear? The worship bags are getting better and better! We now have praying and listening putty included!
- Preschoolers are following the stories of the lectionary with Susan Miller and Alana Koser.
- The K-2 graders are experiencing Bible stories through the Montessori method of Godly Play with Lisa Gochnauer and Kim Neumar.
- They are hearing the stories while the teacher uses simple, natural materials and characters to enhance the experience. Wondering together about the stories and then working through the stories in their own way – painting, creating and retelling.
- The 3-5th graders are studying the Old Testament stories with Patti and Carl Hartman.
- Confirmation students are currently studying the small catechism, and the new testament.
- Adults continue their study of the parables.
- Christian Formation Hour is every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
Dear knitters and crocheters of Grace Lutheran,
Thank so much for your beautiful works of art! We use these baby items as gifts to incentivize our pre-natal patients to come to their appointments. Many have limited resources and your gifts make a big difference. Our patients love them! Thank you, Dina, Karla, &Linda – Lancaster Health Center
