Music at Grace Concert ~ March 27th at 4:00 p.m. ~ Manor Winds
A Lancaster-based ensemble, Manor Winds comprises of five musicians who come together to rehearse in a historic farmhouse on Manor Street. Since their formation in the spring of 2016 they have given over 40 performances throughout the southeastern Pennsylvania region. At home in traditional and non-traditional settings, Manor Winds strives for professional performances of both standard and modern wind quintet repertoire. Built upon friendships developed in the freelancing community, Matthew, Lauren, Christy, Anne, and Robin believe that quality chamber music should be readily available to the region’s diverse population. Manor Winds wishes to share their love of music and collaboration with their surrounding community and can be seen performing throughout southeastern PA.
The cost is $10.00.

Walking Group Update
This week we focus on the spiritual habit of generosity.
Philippians 4:14-20, Acts 20:35, Proverbs 19:17
Things to consider…
- What is your most prized possession? Does it hold value or significant meaning?
- What emotions are tied to your possessions? What do they reveal about your priorities?
- With what resources are you most generous?
- How have you experienced generosity from others?
- Are you recognizing new ways to be generous with your resources? If so, how?
Generosity comes from a thankful and trusting heart. When we trust God with what we have, He starts to entrust us with more. Practicing the habit of generosity reminds us that we are not in control, but God, who is in control, provides for all our needs.
One of Jesus’ most famous miracles involved making the most out of a few loaves and fish someone had to offer. John 6:1-15.
What do you have to give? This week find a place where you can invest what you have. Start small. Go big. Just start and watch what God will do.
Join us on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2PM in the pavilion at Buchanan Park as we continue our journey on making space for the things that matter – Five Spiritual Habits for Lent and Life.
To confirm your participation please call or text Philip Supeck at 717.725.3429.
Adult Sunday School Sundays in Lent at 9:00 a.m. in Nolt Auditorium
Pastor Steve will use the Lenten Sunday School hour to conduct a new and updated version of his “Discovery Class” – Surprises and Insights from Scripture, Tradition, and Lutheranism and our Ministry at Grace. With Pastor Steve’s guidance, participants will deepen their knowledge of the Bible, the long tradition of Christian faith, our “home-turf” Lutheran Confessions, and understand how all these undergird our ministry priorities at Grace Church and in the neighborhood.
What Does the Bible Say
There’s still time to join us in this venture! Resources are available in the narthex and here. April’s resources will be available next week. If you have any questions please contact Angie Rabbe at firstname.lastname@example.org
March 27, 2022 (4th Sunday in Lent, Year C)
2 Corinthians 5:17 –So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!
The way a bubbling spring renews and refreshes a streambed, so the Holy Spirit continually renews our souls. Relax and be continually renewed in Christ.
This Week’s Green Tip
Choose a barrel designed for holding water.
Using an old garbage can for collecting rainwater may yield disappointing results. Rain barrels are designed with a wall thickness that can withstand freezing, expansion of freezing water, and distortion from the weight of the water and/or the effect of prolonged direct sunlight. Read more here
Cap Collection Continues
We are still collecting caps for the Earth Savers Club at Central York High School. If you would like to help—drop off your clean/label free caps to the church office! Thank you for helping to protect our planet!
Our Grace Family
A note from Heather & McKenna M.
Dear Pastor & Kath,
Thank you kindly for making the drive to “Horse Hollow” to bring her a fun Lent surprise. She loves the prayer elephant and talks to him each night for bedtime stories & prayers. She even holds his hands together. We have been working through the Lent booklet too, “her homework”. Hope to see you both soon!
