Our final summer event is a Scavenger Hunt—August 8 / rain date 8/15
Summer Devotional

If you enjoyed our Lenten devotional, you’ll love the devotional material we have for this summer…An Illustrated Compassion.
Our devotional encourages us to love with compassion like God loves us. This is a great resource for families- there are family activities and coloring pages (the family activities can also be done by individuals)!
I will be posting questions/readings/prayers to our social media between June 13 and August 29, but you can do any 12 weeks this summer that work for you. There will be a path of daily readins- one for each of the three sections of our devotional. You can find the first four weeks here. If you would like the materials emailed to you (it’s a big document) please email me at graceelcaapd@gmail.com. If you want to pick a copy up in the office please contact Vicki at 717-397-2748 or vicki@gracelutheranchurch.com. If you have any questions send me an email. Peace, Angie Rabbe
Contemplating Logos

“Listen, O my son, to the precepts of thy master, and incline the ear of thy heart, and cheerfully receive and faithfully execute the admonitions of thy loving Father, that by the toil of obedience thou mayest return to Him from whom by the sloth of disobedience thou hast gone away.”
(Prologue to The Rule of St. Benedict, Trans. Rev. Boniface Verheyen OSB, 1949)
This week’s reading is John 5:25-30
Adult Sunday School

Green at Grace

We are still collecting caps for the Earth Savers Club at Central York High School. If you would like to help—drop off your clean/label free caps to the church office!
Thank you for helping to protect our planet!
Creation Care

Our creation care team is looking for folks to help with weeding, watering, and general maintenance of our new native plantings around the church campus.
If you are interested—please contact the church office to volunteer. Any amount of time you can give would be greatly appreciated! 717-397-2748
This Week’s Greeen Tip

Use Clothes Washer for Only Full Loads.
With clothes washers, avoid the permanent press cycle, which uses an added 5 gallons (20 liters) for the extra rinse.
For partial loads, adjust water levels to match the size of the load.

Fourth Sunday after Pentecost, June 20, 2021 “We have spoken frankly to you Corinthians; our heart is wide open to you. There is no restriction in our affections, but only in yours. In return—I speak as to children—open wide your hearts also.” – 2 Corinthians 6:11-13
The give-and-take of relationships rarely stays in perfect 50/50 balance, but rather shifts constantly. Sometimes we give more, and sometimes we need more from others. How do you see your relationships playing out in this post-Covid world? Are you willing to be more flexible?
